Every Saturday and Sunday from 1st January to late March, we open our gates for a Pick-Your-Own Dahlia experience. Available between 10am - 4pm. Everything you will need is provided. The Dahlia Kids welcome all visitors with open arms making your experience at Green Footed Kiwi a one-of-a-kind treat. We also deliver unique giant bouquets on request for that super special occasion.

Satisfy all your senses with a Very Special High Tea served to you by the delightful Dahlia Kids. Kick back and relax in amongst the dahlias and enjoy an array of sweet and savory treats and a cup of tea in a fancy teapot. Available every weekend during our opening season at 11am. Advanced bookings essential. Tea, coffee and cake also available from the Coffee House on the day. Sorry we cannot cater for specific dietary requirements at the moment.

Warm, welcoming friendliness is what the Dahlia Kids do best. Each and every visitor will be treated like family and we make huge efforts to make everyone leave with warm fuzzy feelings, satisfied tummies and armfuls of flowers. In return we ask for your patience and encouragement for these three young girls getting out there and learning through doing. Sharing photos and feedback on Facebook is a perfect way to show your appreciation and support.

Treat Yourself
Group Bookings
Green Footed Kiwi's Dahlia Farm offers the perfect spot for Group Bookings or Events. There are three options available. All bookings must contact us through the contact form before booking to double check availability and chat about your individual group's requirements. All bookings must be paid in full in advance. Please note, we are open every weekend for Pick-Your-Own Dahlias and Group Bookings may only be organised during weekdays, flowers depending.
Very Special
This unique 2-hour option includes an introduction to our garden with a focus on the girls and their dahlia journey, their dreams and achievements so far, followed by a Very Special High Tea served to you in amongst the dahlias, bumblebees and butterflies. Following this you will have the opportunity to explore the dahlia garden some more and pick your own jar of flowers to take home.
$65 per person (min 8, max 25 people)
Afternoon Tea
This 2-hour option includes an introduction to our flower garden with information on how we grow our dahlias and a walk around the dahlias. The Dahlia Kids will be available to answer any questions and make you feel welcome. Your booking will be finished off with tea, coffee and some cakes with an option to purchase a jar, bucket or bouquet of flowers at an additional cost.
$25 per person (minimum 15 people)
Team Building
This 2-hour option includes a longer, more in-depth talk on dahlias. Information will be given in a fun, interactive way to encourage communication and team building. We then encourage your competitive streak with a mini Dahlia Flower Show with judging to cement your learning. Tea, coffee and a selection of cakes are included. Let the girls test your knowledge and listening skills!
$40 per person (minimum 12 people)
